native who received his undergraduate and doctorate degree from Vanderbilt University, Edward is a seasoned professional in
leadership and organizational development. He is referred to as one of the most-able leadership and business consultants

Edward's professional and business background has a heavy emphasis on entrepreneurship, small-business,
and state/local government --- both as a successful Chairman/CEO and over the past 12 years --- as a leadership and business
development consultant, educator and trainer. This experience includes:

--- In the late 1970's and early 1980's, Edward participated with both the Carter and Reagen Administrations (specifically
with Secretary of Commerce, Malcolm Baldrige) --- in what evolved into The Baldrige Criteria. *Chairman/CEO of International Company --- Throughout the 1980's Edward was the Chairman/CEO of an
English-based company that manufactured and exported throughout England, Scotland, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Germany, Canada,
Mexico --- and the United States.
*SunStone LeaderShip --- Edward founded SunStone LeaderShip in the early-1990's
after serving a stint on the faculty of the Johnson School of Business. SunStone is an organizational development/business
consultant company specializing in Performance Excellence Practices per the Baldrige Criteria.
Edward has been referred to as "one of the South's leading experts in applying the principles
and practices behind the Baldrige Criteria" to help organizations achieve performance excellence.
